It’s not about fad diets or yo yo results, The Biggest Loser on E! provides 18 strong-willed, yet hopeful, contestants with challenges, temptations, weigh-ins and eliminations until the final contestant remains to claim the title of “the biggest loser.” Their stories are often touching and inspirational - from the oldest competitor in Biggest Loser history to the mother who wants to see her young kids grow up.

The "Biggest Loser" contestants have lost a combined total of 448 lbs. in just the first three episodes of the new season. So far The Biggest Loser is up 18% in Toronto for adults 18-49 versus last year. Meanwhile in Vancouver, The Biggest Loser is starting to see gains - this past week was up 15% versus premiere.

Next week, in a special twist, it's the Biggest Loser trainers Bob Harper, Kim Lyons and Jillian Michaels -- not the contestants -- who are put to the test with a food temptation on Tuesday, October 2, in the series' new regular timeslot of 8:30-10:00 p.m. ET following "The Singing Bee" at 8:00 p.m only on E!
