The Thunder Bay Chronicle Journal is the area’s only daily newspaper, reaching 60 communities across 1,200km, with distribution covering more than 2/3 of Ontario's’ geographic area.
The Chronicle-Journal will build on its market strength in the city and vigorously pursue district growth to become the first-read regional newspaper of Northwestern Ontario. On this base, it will develop an expanding range of services as the leading information provider and deliverer in the region, with White River to the East, Kenora to the West. This mission will be completed through outstanding service, integrity and scope of products, which meet and exceed expectations of advertisers and readers. We will be the low-cost provider of excellence as the leading marketing and communications company of the Northwest.
Thunder Bay Spot is now called Lakehead Life and publishes every Sunday throughout the year. This EMC wrap (10 col x 301 lines) is distriubed to all of our non-subscribers in the city and immediate rurals of Thunder Bay. Lakehead Life focuses on entertainment, dining and lifestyle.
New Horizons for Seniors publishes the 2nd Sunday of every Month and is a 4 col x 147 lines publication - 10.5" wide by 10.5" deep.
Classified Plus is the Thursday EMC wrap (10 col x 301 lines) that is distributed to non-subscribers in the city, immediate rurals and 5 district towns for an additional 5,000 EMC distribution over Lakehead Life. Classified Plus is a compilation of the weeks classified and career ads.
Advertising booking and non-camera ready material submission deadlines 3 business days prior; camera ready material 2 business days prior to publication @ 12:00 noon.
