In keeping with the Canwest Media Inc. mandate to increase Canadian programming diversity Canwest has several paid Aboriginal Internship Opportunities for youth and students seeking to begin and further their careers in broadcasting.

Internship opportunities are available at our stations in Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, and Red Deer, Alberta. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team and intern in the areas of our business that reflect a personal interest. These exciting opportunities will challenge you to utilize and grow your skills as you contribute to our dynamic organization.

To qualify for an internship, you are a Canadian citizen enrolled or have been accepted to a broadcast program at a post-secondary institution. These internship opportunities involve a four (4) month commitment, and internship responsibilities will be determined on an individual basis. Compensation and a moving/relocation allowance will be awarded with each Internship (approximate value $10,000 + $1,500 relocation costs).
